Takin It To The Streets - April 2013

Takin’ It to the Streets is about showing Christ’s love to our community through our service. Whether you are an old-hat or brand-new to serving, Takin’ It provides an easy on-ramp for you to serve the community and learn more about Faithbridge’s ministry partners. On Friday, April 12 and Saturday, April 13, we’ll be Takin’ It to the Streets once again. There are several projects to choose from. Something for everyone!

Remember, part of Takin’ It to the Streets involves your donations of garage sale items for the McDougle Garage Sale benefiting their PTO. Bring collections directly to McDougle next Friday, April 12, between 3:30-6:30 p.m.

We’ll also have a truck from the Houston Furniture Bank here on our campus on Saturday, April 13, for your furniture donations. If you can’t get it here, contact peggy.burdon@faithbridge.org by Friday, April 12, to schedule a pick-up.

Boys & Girls Country  This project is full.
9am-1pm • Age 16 and up 
 
9am-3:30pm • Age 7 and up 
 
9am-Noon or 1-4pm • Adults & strong teens
 
KISD Partner Campuses
Various landscaping projects to be completed at different KISD Title I partner campuses.
8am-Noon  • Responsible kids welcome 
 
McDougle Garage Sale 
Monies raised from the garage sale will be used for:   Teacher Appreciation Week, Field Day, and Blinds for Cafeteria.
7:30-10:30am • Responsible kids welcome 
 
8:30am-12:30pm • Age 14 and up 
 
New Life Pregnancy Center This project is full.
12:30-2:30pm • Responsible kids welcome 
 
Northwest Assistance Ministries Resale  This project is full.
9am-Noon  • Responsible kids welcome
 
Nursing Home One-on-One Fun  This project is full.
10am-Noon or 1:30-3:30pm • Responsible kids welcome 
 
Spring Assistance Ministries This project is full.
