Year End Giving

Dear Faithbridger,
I hope you will join me again this Christmas season in thanking God for His abundant goodness to Faithbridge. Your faithful giving has allowed Faithbridge to meet a multitude of needs. Since almost 20% of our total offerings come in the month of December and most people review their giving at this time of year, I wanted to recap some of the options for year-end giving. I hope you will prayerfully consider how God will use you.
Five ways to give:
-
Giving Automatically – Faithbridge will charge your checking account, debit/credit card and transfer your gift to the church account.
-
Giving on Sunday – Gifts of cash and checks can be placed in the offering basket during the Giving Back to God portion of any worship service on December 24, 2011 and will be counted as a 2011 gift. The church office will be open on a limited schedule between December 27 and December 30, 2011.
-
Giving by Mail – Checks can be mailed to the church accounting office. Envelopes must be postmarked by December 31, 2011 for your contribution to be applied as a 2011 tax deduction.
-
Non-Cash Giving – A gift of stock can be set up through the accounting office. A planned gift to Faithbridge can be made through a gift of life insurance or as a bequest in your will or trust.
-
Employer Gift Matching Programs – Many companies will match charitable gifts, meaning your gift will count even more. Check with your employer if you think this option applies to you.
Please go to the
Giving Page for more details on each of the above options. I feel certain Faithbridge will once again finish strong through your faithful response in giving back to Him who has given us so much.
With humble gratitude,
Brian McGown
