Weekly Update

Dear Faithbridgers and Friends,

This Sunday’s sermon deals with a sensitive subject: homosexuality. Few subjects are more contentious and deeply convictional than this one, so it’s not an easy message to preach. In fact, I may please very few people, but I hope you will come with a mind open to hearing from the Lord as we continue our journey through 1 Corinthians.

We don't desire anyone to feel awkward or embarrassed, so please consider which ministry you want your child(ren) attending this week. We will have our regular Kingdom Club Children’s Ministry available during every worship service, and we will provide an opportunity for children and youth to leave the services just before we get into the sermon.

If you’re wondering … yes, we have changed the order of sermon topics in this “Sex Talk” section of 1 Corinthians. The new order for the remainder is:

9/12: What about Homosexuality? (1 Corinthians 6:9-11)

9/19: Divorce and ReMarriage (1 Corinthians 7:10-16, 39-40)

9/26: Bloom Where You’re Planted (1 Corinthians 7:8-9, 17-38)
