We truly could not run this ministry without you. We believe that high-impact ministry based on discipleship simply can't take place without effective volunteers committed to building intentional relationships and raising up individuals. Our team of volunteer leaders is the lifeblood of effective ministry, and we are committed to cultivating a team that is equipped to serve and disciple people as we pursue Christ.

For ROAD adult volunteers, this means training on knowing and developing people, age-appropriate challenge, leading team meetings, driving policies, handling conflict, etc. Our heart is that this training and screening process would not only bless participants, but our adult volunteers also, as they learn effective tools to better serve God’s kingdom. They are an indispensable blessing to us, and we believe that God multiplies their investment of time and self they are giving. We have found that our leaders are transformed by these journeys as well!

We exercise great care in recruiting and placing anyone interested in serving on The ROAD. We screen all volunteers in order to look at what is best for the individual, the team, and the mission. This process will include (but is not limited to) the following application, a background check, driver approval application, and Ministry Safe training. By continuing this application, potential volunteers will be asked questions about their spiritual walk, personal history and background, prior experience, and church involvement. These will be used simply to assess what is most beneficial to you, the team, and our partner(s).

We believe that protecting people as we minister to them is our utmost responsibility. As a potential volunteer, your honest responses are critical in assuring that everyone’s safety inside effective ministry is top priority.
