It's been a while since I've requested prayer for Jay, my friend who was in a near-fatal crash in February. He has been home, slowly recovering.
Today, they found out that he has a staff infection in his hip. They're going to remove it and insert an antibiotic spacer for 6 to 8 weeks and will be on IV antibiotics while they wait for the final hip revision. (He's also diabetic.)
Jay is a self-employed welder with no health insurance and no income since his accident 6 months ago. To say they're struggling financially is an understatement. They're having a hard time making the monthly bills and can't even touch the medical bills totaling well over a million dollars.
Jay, his wife and daughter are strong Christians. He was there for me over 20 years ago when I went through a divorce.
They need God's provision and peace beyond measure. We know God is more than able. Sonny
