Update on my friend who almost lost his life in an accident in February.
Jay made it through the surgery to remove part of his hip. He has an antibiotic infused rod in his femur, which is not attached to the hip. He will be in an immobilizer for 3 months with no attempts to walk or bear weight.
Jay is 60, diabetic, self-employed, and has no health insurance. They are struggling financially since he has been the primary breadwinner. They're holding on to God and trusting Him.
