Curious is back on campus, beginning October 28!
We are kicking off our in-person option for Curious next Wednesday, October 28th, and could not be MORE excited! Middle school students will be meeting on campus for a time of small group and high school students will be meeting outside at Host Homes.
We have created a “Curious Reopening Video” for each ministry. Please take a moment to watch the video that pertains to your student(s).
Middle School // On Campus
High School // Host Homes
Will there be a virtual option for my student? We understand that not everyone is able to return to an in-person option which is why we will continue to offer an option for students to “zoom-in” each week to their group! High school students can “zoom-in” at 7pm with their groups and middle school students can “zoom in” at 7:20 (the time small group discussion starts on campus).
Will there be pizza on campus or snacks at the host homes? We will not be serving pizza or snacks during this time to ensure masks stay on for the whole night. We recommend eating dinner before Curious!
What time does Curious start? Curious runs 7:00pm – 8:30pm each Wednesday. Doors will open on campus at 6:45 pm, please do not drop off your student on campus or at a host home earlier than 6:45 pm.
Do I need to RSVP? No! We just ask that you let your leader know that you are coming so we can prepare best for each group in terms of the number of seats.
How do I register a new student? You can register new students by clicking here. Maddie Koenig will reach out to let you know your student’s group information.
How do I find out Host Home information for my high school student? Leaders will be reaching out with the address of their group’s host home!
We are better together and small groups give students a place to do life with Jesus and each other.
We believe that life is best lived in community, which is why we strongly encourage all students to get involved in a Curious Small Group at the start of the school year. Each group consists of around 8-12 students of the same gender and grade and 2 adult leaders. Currently, small groups meet weekly on Wednesday nights and gather virtually on Zoom with their leaders after watching a Curious Online livestream.
We Are Here For You!
We don’t ask for perfection, we ask for a desire to show up, to share your life, and to encourage others to share theirs as well. Be a pursuer of community, not just a receiver, and experience the truth that as a part of the church, you are not alone!

What Is Discipleship?
Discipleship is an intentional relationship in which we walk alongside other disciples in order to encourage, equip, and challenge one another in love to grow toward maturity in Christ. By asking for discipleship, you are entering into the strongest form of personal development, spiritual growth, and accountability we offer at FSM. Through trust, honesty, and vulnerability, you will experience transparent relationships that will transform your life.
How Does It Work?
Discipleship is simply this: you and a peer of the same gender will connect with an adult mentor that is ready to intentionally pour into you in the context of scripture. Discipleship groups meet depending on the schedules of the mentor and students but usually set aside a weekly time to meet. Many discipleship groups meet before or after school at a coffee shop.
How Many Are In A Group?
A Discipleship usually consists of two students to one adult leader ratio. Sometimes we have one on one, but no more than three students at a time in one Discipleship group.

If you're ready to pursue a new level of depth in your relationship with Christ, ask to be discipled. We do not want this to just be another "to do" in your life, but an opportunity for authentic growth. For more info, you can e-mail email@example.com.
