Family Day Trip (Fall)

Join your family to experience a 3-day mission trip! The team will serve alongside local nonprofit organizations that are fighting food insecurity in the city of Houston. The minimum age requirement is 8 years old.

October 14–16, 2026

Cost

$25 per person – covers meals and travel expenses

France

French missionaries working with Greater Europe Mission (GEM) have an opportunity to go on a one-week retreat. Our team will serve these missionaries by organizing and running a Childrens'/Teens' camp for their kids. This is an opportunity to teach and build lasting connections with children, offering them spiritual growth and a memorable experience.

Accommodations

Teams will stay at Camp de Cimes in the French Alps, with bunk-style accommodations. Meals will be prepared by a private chef.

East Africa

The team will support Acacia Ranch (the physical location of ITHM) and its surrounding community through a mix of hands-on projects and relational ministry. Alongside a work project to help meet practical needs, the team will engage in community care efforts such as women’s empowerment, outreach, and school mentorship – building relationships and encouraging local staff, students, and families.

El Salvador – 4 Day

This is a four-day adult journey in the heart of San Salvador, serving alongside longtime ministry partners, Gary and Sharon Powell. Support La Casa's ministry through work projects and spend meaningful time with the children.

Honduras

This is a 7-day adult and family mission trip supporting the ministry of Hope 4 Honduras. Hope 4 Honduras exists to bring holistic care to the people of Tegucigalpa, meeting both physical and spiritual needs. They provide food and medical assistance for families, along with education and tutoring for their children. Teams will serve alongside Hope 4 Honduras through various projects such as house construction, food distribution, and children’s programming.

Dominican Republic

This is a seven-day mission trip serving alongside Living Water International. LWI exists to demonstrate the love of God by helping communities acquire desperately clean water, and to experience “living water” – the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Teams will partner with churches to provide sustainable water solutions, sanitation facilities, and hygiene education, all while being an ongoing witness of Jesus.
