Dear Faithbridge Family,
We want to take a moment to address an important issue regarding the safety of your generous contributions. While we are not aware of any Faithbridgers experiencing fraudulent activity, we do know other churches around the country have experienced attempts to exploit the generosity and kindness of Christians through elaborate phishing scams. These scams can take various forms, including emails, text messages, and even AI-generated voice phone calls that impersonate trusted individuals asking for money.
Five Ways to Give to Faithbridge
To ensure your safety and the integrity of your donations, we encourage you to exclusively use the following five official methods for giving to Faithbridge:
- Giving Online: Visit faithbridge.org/give and use our payment processor, PushPay, or by texting 'Faithbridge' to 77977.
- Giving by Mail: Send your contributions directly to our address at 18000 Stuebner Airline, Spring, Texas 77379.
- Giving Stocks and Non-Assets: Utilize our brokerage account with the National Christian Foundation.
- Employer Matching Programs: Check with your employer about matching contributions.
- In-Person Giving: Of course, join us for in-person giving every weekend.
Any other attempts to collect money, either for the church or especially for an individual, are likely fraudulent and should be verified by contacting the church directly.
How to Protect Yourself
To ensure your safety, please remember the following:
- Official Communication: Our church will never contact you directly for donations outside of the methods listed above.
- Verification is Key: If you receive any message from someone asking for money, we urge you to call the church office first at 281-320-7588. This will allow you to verify the identity of the person reaching out to you.
- Scammers Can Fake Numbers: Be aware that scammers can manipulate phone numbers to appear as if they are coming from the church. However, they cannot intercept calls made directly to our office.
